Recent achievements include Highly Commended in the category of Soft Landscape at the 2004 Landscape Industry Association of Victoria (liav) Awards of Excellence and Commended in the Garden Lighting category. Our apprentice Johnathon Balfour was awarded Apprentice of the Year in his 1st year at nmit. Johnathon also achieved the prestigious Gold Medal at the 2003 Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show Workskills competition for the Best Landscape Construction.

In 2004 Johnathon achieved Gold at the Brisbane Workskills (national) competition. With both state and national Workskills titles to his credit, Johnathon will compete at the Workskills (world) competition in Finland 2005.
